“Slow grinding BlasterBeam, distorted samples, evil soothing vocals, and the relentless war drums of Dave Nato (4th Wall) – that guy is a manic! He brings a slow pounding war-tom feel to the song – it’s sexy as Hell! The main instrument on this track is Blaster Beam – it’s got a massive sound. George Bikos at Baysound Studios processed the distortion to make it sound HUGE!”
– Zoog Von Rock, Angelspit.

Pay the Butcher’s Bill‘ is released through Black Pill Red Pill, Bandcamp and all streaming services on Monday March 13, 2023.

Angelspit’s new track “The Greatest Trick” is a high-speed burning collision between Electro-Punk Rock and Cyber Mayhem.
Ultra Distorted Blaster Beam (Electric Guitar hybrid – 6 foot long 11 strings), samples, vocals and lyrics – continuing the old-school Industrial approach to destroying music!
The mayhem driving “The Greatest Trick” creates something new and dangerous.

“The track is built around the sample of a cooking pot rocking on a wall hook – yup, a rocking saucepan! Its pitch was lowered and distorted – giving a dirty, grainy sound. The sample’s pitch and rhythm became the backbone of the track.
The Blasterbeam was literally bashed to create total mayhem. George Bikos at Baysound Studios ran the Blaster Beam through his huge collection of guitar amps to make it sound massive!
“God” and “The Devil” mentioned in the lyrics is referring to technology and the absolute power it has over us. It is addictive and self-destructive.”
– Zoog Von Rock, Angelspit.

Glitch shattered samples, ultra-distorted Blaster Beam and the punk-rock drumming of Dave Nato (4th Wall, Anti-Nowhere League), all entangled in a hammer fight to the death.

Angelspit took the old-school Industrial approach in making “Art Imitates War” by sampling metallic sounds and ruining them with distortion pedals.
Their six-foot aluminum Blaster Beam was also decimated, creating a wall of mayhem with its 11 low frequency piano wires.

“The music came from distorting smashed metal. When you hit metal it sings, but it screams when you distort it. It would be fair to say that I co-wrote the track with chaos and distortion. The lyrics cover the decay of the middle class, denial, drug abuse, domestic abuse, and mind-numbing social media telling you that everything will be OK if you stay plugged in. ‘Art Imitates War‘ is an experiment in sonic brutality.”
– Zoog Von Rock, Angelspit.

Art Imitates War‘ is now on all streaming services and Bandcamp. Angelspit’s 11th album “The Bastard Gods” is due for release in 2023.

BRUTAL RESONANCE REVIEWS DIESEL PRIEST

Steven from Brutal Resonance reviews Diesel Priest

“Diesel Priest” is both an entertaining and thought-provoking album. After almost twenty-years in the business and countless albums, it’s no wonder Zoog Von Rock has a hold on things so much…it’s an album that can be appreciated just for it’s blistering electronic beats, but it can also be listened to for a deeper and further message.

SOUND & SHADOWS REVIEWS DIESEL PRIEST

Ken from Sounds and Shadows reviews Diesel Priest

I think the greatest power here is how the lyrics effect 16 year old me as well as 44 year old me with both the passion and intelligence. This album is an experience that hits on so many levels. Von Rock, Angelspit.
