ANGELSPIT’S MOST AMBITIOUS PROJECT TO DATE
After an overwhelming successful Kickstarter campaign, Angelspit/Ice Planet 9000’s 70s Sci-Fi concept album “SEQUENCE 1: GLASS JAR” is gearing up for release.
The digital album is available on February 8 on Bandcamp and all digital outlets, the physical vinyl with lavish tri-fold artwork ships March 1, while the mind-bending digital audio drama drops April 26.
THE ALBUM
An epic sci-fi concept album on limited edition vinyl in a tri-fold jacket with lavish artwork, containing 6 long-form instrumental tracks plus a mind-bending digital audio drama. The ice colored LP is presented in a triple fold cover with full art on both sides.
ARTIST STATEMENT:
This is the most ambitious project Angelspit has taken on. I teamed up with Ice Planet 9000 to create something completely different – intergalactic music rooted in prime numbers and the Fibonacci sequence.
This experiment yielded six long form instrumentals plus a 90 minute audio drama in which massive tankers called “Glass Jars” mine water in deep space. The story takes us to a frozen planetoid where ruins of a massive temple are discovered encased in a glacier. As the ice around the structure is extracted, something powerful awakens.

THE ARTIST: ICE PLANET 9000
Headed by Imagineer and Sci-Fi author Beta Zed, Ice Planet 9000 is a collective of Synth, Science Fiction and Horror enthusiasts from all over the world.
