This is certainly another great addition to Angelspit’s discography…a definite recommendation.
You would think heading towards 10 albums into an artist’s career would require a massive evolution or result in said discography becoming rather stale. However, none of these things have applied to the Australian Electro-Industrial project led by Zoog Von Rock, Angelspit.

“The horror of the last 18 months inspired confronting lyrics and music. The non-stop flood of doctored news and benign entertainment has rendered us numb. We are more moved by the death of our favorite TV character than real people dying under terrible circumstances. We are binging social media like gluttons and mindlessly thumbing through it. Genuine interpersonal contact and substance have evaporated. This is addictive behavior on a mass scale.
We have built ourselves a comfortable prison, and each thoughtless choice is another brick.
We built it – not the algorithms or the corporations. It is the perfect reflection of what we want – cheap, bland and disposable.
I want this album to remind you that life is about taking risks and learning for yourself. Let ‘Diesel Priest’ be your wrench to throw in the machine.”
