One of the main characteristics from this album is the production of the vocals, which have something sensual. It creates a delicious, hot match with the deep, vibrating bass lines. Another important element of the work is the constant sound manipulation creating a sophisticated touch. Angelspit sounds dark, rough and definitely punkish!

Released back in September, Angelspit’s new album “Bang Operative” is a theory in human and societal decay all in the name of glorious technology and internet stardom. The cyberpunk album rooted in real world problems via the cult-like celebrity Hollywood status paired with homelessness, Zoog took inspiration from his hometown and personal experiences to create “Bang Operative“. ANGELSPIT’s 8th album BANG OPERATIVE is influenced by the Synthwave sound of 1978-1981. Written and recorded in Los Angeles, the album is inspired by the city’s sprawling dystopia.

The lyrics are dark and personal, commenting on stimulation-addiction, isolation, loneliness and the mayhem of modern life while balancing at the edge of sanity.
Several tracks feature dueling male/female vocals with English vocalist Cherry Bligh – who brings a new aggressive edge to ANGELSPIT’s sound.
